Audrey Diane Evans

Audrey Diane Evans, 69, of Roseland, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025, at her home. Born in Lynchburg, December 23, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Helton Massie and Mary White Evans.

Audrey was a lifetime member of Jonesboro Baptist Church. At the time of her death, she served as a district representative on the Nelson Library Advisory Board, which was a joy for her and kept her close to her lifelong passion for reading. She enjoyed riding horses and was the Register for the Fleetwood Trail Ride for many years, where she made many friendships. Audrey served on the Oakland Museum Board and assisted in developing the Exhibits and Programs about Hurricane Camille. She loved her cats and enjoyed pet-sitting for others, loving on their animals as if they were her own.

She is survived by her brother, Wendell Evans (Donna); niece, Danita Massie (Michael); niece-in-law, Najomi (Evans) Saunders, and great nieces and nephews, Kyle Evans, Stevey Evans, Jasper Massie, Willow Massie, and Bristol Massie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Steven Evans.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 4:00 pm located at Jonesboro Baptist Church.
