Casey Wayne Adams

Casey Wayne Adams, 27, of Roseland, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Born in Lynchburg, September 13, 1998, he was the beloved son of Michael Wayne and Tammy Denise Mays Adams.

A graduate of Nelson County High School’s class of 2018, Casey’s determination and skill found a place at Cox’s Crane and Tree Service. He was never one for sitting idle behind four walls—Casey’s heart belonged to the open air and the endless sky. He found freedom, peace, and joy outdoors, and he made the most of every opportunity to savor nature’s beauty.

Casey’s generosity of spirit was boundless. He was known for his ability to ignite laughter and lift spirits, found happiness in the smiles of others, and delighted in bringing light into every gathering. His greatest devotion, however, was reserved for his family and friends—he cherished them deeply, and it showed in every caring gesture, kind word, and shared moment.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by an aunt, Debbie Mason; numerous cousins, and a host of other loving relatives and friends who will hold his memory close.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elwood Franklin Adams and Doris Jean Adams, and great-grandparents, Doris Virginia Manning and Earl Don Manning.

Though his journey here was short, Casey made every day count, reminding us to treasure every moment with those we love and to spend as much time as we can out under the blue sky. He will be dearly missed, always remembered, and forever loved.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2026 at Clifford Baptist Church by Pastor Wayne Moore and Pastor Jeffrey Campbell with burial to follow in Bethlehem Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Byrum-Parr Funeral Home.
