Charles Robert Creamer “Bobby”, affectionately nicknamed, “Cabbage”, 64, of Amherst passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026 in Lynchburg. Born April 8, 1961, he was a son of the late Charles Tucker Creamer and Emily June Benson Creamer.
Bobby had been a machine operator for Westover Dairy, retiring after many years, and was a member of Kingswood Baptist Church. He served his country faithfully in the United States Army during Desert Storm, and with the National Guard, a total of 24 years of devoted service. Bobby had also been a 40 year member of the Piney River Moose Lodge 2032 where he served in various capacities including Administrator for the last seven years.
Bobby is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Pamela Denise Creamer; sons, Samuel “Sam” Tucker Creamer, and Cody William Creamer; brothers, Richard and Jamie; a sister, Ruby; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other loving relatives, friends, and moose lodge members.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mom, Sylvia M. Creamer.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Kingswood Baptist Church by Pastor Carroll Martin and Pastor Larry Fitzgerald.
On Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 1 p.m., the family invites you to the Piney River Moose Lodge for a time of remembrance and fellowship.
To help with final expenses, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Byrum-Parr Funeral Home, POB 10, Roseland, VA 22967.
