Dorothy Lerro Nelke

Dorothy Lerro Nelke, 67, of Lovingston, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at her home. Born in Paterson, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rosemary Lerro.

Dorothy had been the co-owner of Nelke Heating and Cooling alongside her husband, and was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church. She loved to quilt and garden in her free time. Dorothy also enjoyed motorcycle racing with her husband and was a wonderful wife and mother.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Eric Nelke; sons, Ian Nelke (Sherry) of CO, and Jason Nelke (James) of NE; grandson, Ryker Nelke; brothers, Joseph Lerro of NC, and Charles Lerro of NJ, and sisters, Marie Murner of AZ, Susan Coyler of PA, and Christine Terpstra of NJ.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2025 at Byrum-Parr Funeral Home in Roseland, VA.
