Ronald Keys Johnson, 79, of Pamplin, died Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Born in Bedford, July 13, 1945, he was a son of the late Elmer Cecil Johnson and Oakey Austin Johnson.
Ron originally retired as an Insurance Broker and then again as a Foreman for F&B Contractors. He was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church for over 61 years. He practiced and taught as a 3 rd Degree Black Belt in the American Shotokan Style Karate.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 36 years Linda Gayle Mays Johnson, 4 brothers: Paul, Philip, Cecil, and Doug.
He is survived by his 3 sons: Wayde (Peggy), Terry (Carolyn), Tracy (Angie). Daughter: Victoria (David). 5 grandchildren: Kristina (Noah), Michael, Josh, Jacob and John. 4 great grandchildren: Liam, Alexis, Aryana, Azlynn. 2 stepdaughters: Melinda (Kelly), and Betty (Billy). Numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
