Walter Scott Evans Jr.

Walter “Scott” Evans Jr. passed away on August 23, 2024 at his home in Roseland. After battling multiple illnesses for so long, he passed away in the home he loved so much.

Scott loved playing golf with his son and enjoyed occasionally meeting friends at LaCaretta when he could. He loved woodworking at home and recently found peace and pleasure in drawing and painting.

He is survived by his sister, Gloria, and her daughter, Jackie; his children, Kirstie, Jessica (Josh), Candice, Amanda, Scott III (Karen), Jae (Tim), and seven grandchildren.

The family would like to thank his friends and community for all their support during this time. 

There will be a celebration of Scott’s life at the Massies Mill Ruritan Club on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. All who have memories and stories to share are invited to join us.
